Range: Bendick’s Chocolate Mint Crisps
Objectives: Produce a unique commemorative gift tin for the 60th Anniversary of the Queen's Coronation.
Results achieved: Beautifully embossed printed tin produced and delivered within a short time frame.
Bendick’s has enjoyed Royal patronage since first being awarded a gold Royal warrant in 1962 and were therefore keen to recognise the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation. Tinplate were approached by Bendick’s' design agency Farrows, with a request to produce a limited edition commemorative tin to recognise this prestigious event.
Needless to say we were delighted to get involved, however the time frames to produce and deliver a high quality tin that would match the occasion and represent the premium Bendick’s brand were tight.
With an experienced team in both the UK and China however, we felt confident our project management service would run like clockwork, ensuring no delays along the way. Our staff based in China worked closely on quality control, colour matching product packs online and utilising highly qualified tool makers, to produce a small run of delicately embossed and highly prestigious tins.
Alongside the tin, Tinplate also produced flock tray inserts to hold a box of Bendick’s Bittermints and a double set of playing cards. The fit was perfect and looked stunning when all the items were packed inside.
Both Farrows and Bendick’s were delighted with the commemorative tin and the tight deadlines that Tinplate were able to meet.
